Spencer combines a wealth of experience from the heartland of agriculture and the energy sector, standing firmly on the foundational values of hard work and industry insight gained from his upbringing on the Texas coast. With a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science from Texas A&M University, he is grounded in the principles that uphold our agricultural and energy industries.
His early career saw him leading a crucial role at a livestock auction in Edna, Texas. This experience was pivotal before he made the significant move to Oklahoma in 2000 where he began managing his family's farm in Indiahoma and took the helm at the Stockman Oklahoma Commission firm at the Oklahoma National Stockyards. His agricultural management and commerce expertise were further solidified as he became a partner in the pioneering Apache Video Auction.
Residing in Duncan, Oklahoma with his wife Leslee, Spencer's entrepreneurial drive flourished as they took ownership and operational control of R & S Drugstores, giving back to the community through dedicated service. Their passion for the land and conservation is evident; they not only manage Prescribed Hunts, an upland hunting preserve, but also actively run a cow/calf ranching operation in southwest Oklahoma, underscoring their commitment to rural prosperity and wildlife conservation.
